Airline passengers and crew members will not be allowed to recharge electronic cigarettes and vaporizers during a flight, the U.S. Transportation Department said Monday in an interim final rule set to begin in mid-November. The department also bans the nicotine-delivery devices from checked baggage. Other devices under the ban include e-cigars, e-pipes and electronic nicotine delivery systems. click here The goal, according to the department, is enhancing transportation safety.
